1983 High School leaving certificate (Classics)

1993 Masters Degree in Modern Foreign Languages and Literature from the Catholic University in Milan (Italy). Dissertation Title: “La Chiesa Cattolica nel Terzo Reich: L’esempio di Padre Rupert Mayer SJ” (“The Catholic Church in Third Reich Germany: the example of Father Rupert Mayer SJ”), final grading 110/ lode /100 (Summa cum laude).

WORKING EXPERIENCE

1985 è 1990 Approx. two-year experience in Munich (Germany) at McDonald’s, fast food sector.

1989 è 2003 Intermittent experiences as tourist guide in the area of former Yugoslavia on behalf of various tourist agencies.

1993 è 1995 Teaching English and German for Eurostudi in Clusone, European Language Institute in Bergamo, Federazione Istituti di cultura Germanica in Bergamo and for various companies in the Bergamo area.

1995 Regular collaboration with various translation agencies in Bergamo as translator and interpreter for German, English, French, Croatian, Serbian, Slovenian.

1996 - 2005 Acquisition of private customers and start of the activity as self-employed professional in the field of translation and interpretation, with VAT registration number

Frequent journeys abroad as an interpreter to: Austria - Germany - Great Britain - France - Croatia - Bosnia and Herzegovina

Manager of a translation agency involved in translations, interpretations, language courses concerning all European languages.

Occasional collaboration with translation agencies, generally for translations to and from Croatian, Serbian and Slovenian.

At them moment, I personally carry out translations from German, English, French. Croatian, Serbian into Italian. For the translations from Italian into above mentioned languages and for other language pairs professional translators - native speakers of the target language - are employed.
